Dr. Stephen Squires completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, after which he received his medical degree at the University of Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After medical school, he completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Washington Hospital Center and a three-year Dermatology Residency at Kansas University Medical Center. From there, he joined the Kansas City VA Hospital and enjoyed serving veterans.

With most of his family living in the Augusta, GA area, Dr. Squires desired to live closer to family, and moved to the area in 2015. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy. They have two children, Emily and Christopher.
